Foundations and Practices of Body-Oriented Psychotherapy
The course enriches participants' professional toolkit with techniques for interpreting the client's "body language," recognizing bodily manifestations of mental processes, and restoring personal connection with the body. It also helps participants find inner support and emotional balance.
The training process consists of five three-day seminars that cover both theory and practice of body-oriented psychotherapy. Participants will explore the fundamental principles of body-oriented psychotherapy, the history of the European school, Reichian vegetotherapy, phenomenological approaches (including those by V. Baskakov), dynamic methods, and integration practices.
The practical component includes mastering centering techniques, breathwork, and working with the neck, face, and areas of social tension. The format combines lectures, exercise practice, personal experience, and targeted supervision.
