Andriy Trokhymets

Obtained a degree in psychology at Zaporizhzhia State University. Specialized in medical psychology at Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Received education in psychotherapy at the Ukrainian Institute of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Interested in such psychotherapy approaches as Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

From 1996 to 2001, worked as a psychologist at the Zaporizhzhia City Psychoneurological Dispensary. Conducted differential psychological diagnostics and provided individual and group psychocorrectional therapy for patients in the neurosis department.
From 2001 to 2005, served as a senior lecturer at the University of "Ukraine". Taught courses and led practical sessions in clinical psychology, psychological counseling, and psychodiagnostics.
From 2005 to 2006, worked as a psychologist at the Zaporizhzhia Regional Psychiatric Hospital. Conducted experimental psychological studies for differential diagnosis, organized psychological support groups in the psychosis department, and provided individual and group psychocorrectional therapy in the department of neurotic conditions.
From 2016 to 2022, worked as a psychologist at the Vasylenko Medical Center. Provided individual and group psychocorrectional therapy for individuals with substance use disorders and their families. Delivered lectures on addiction and recovery mechanisms, participated in emotionally stressful therapy sessions using the Vasylenko method, and conducted free-breathing sessions for emotional stabilization of patients' loved ones.
