Coco

Coco is an adventure and family animated film with such depth that it will appeal to both children and adults.

For children, it serves as a vivid example of Miguel, a young boy who, despite his family’s prohibitions, dreams of becoming a musician because of his passion for the guitar. He desperately seeks ways to pursue his passion, and one fateful evening during the Day of the Dead, he finds himself in the Land of the Dead. There, all of Miguel’s subsequent adventures unfold. The film teaches children about determination, motivation, courage, and respect for family, as it is his loving family that ultimately saves him in the Land of the Dead. Additionally, the movie provides a beautiful metaphor for explaining the concept of death to children.

For adults, this animated film highlights the importance of remembering one’s roots and serves as a reminder for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Like the younger audience, adults can also find a dose of motivation and learn to distinguish true desires from those imposed by others.

The entire film is a carnival of Mexican joy and celebration, so emotionally it conveys only positivity and the desire to move forward, filling life with energy.

"When you see your moment of luck, you can’t let it slip away—you have to seize it!" — the film’s key quote. :)
