Hypnosis Therapy. Explained in simpler terms.
Ukrainian therapists describe how hypnosis therapy works.
Formally, hypnosis is induced sleep. Classical hypnosis is a set of techniques that allows you to deepen the state of induced sleep, to work at the deepest level.
Andrey Stanislavovich Babiychuk
There are formal, classical and permissive hypnosis.
In formal hypnosis, induction is carried out by reading a text of a hypnotic nature to the audience. An example of formal hypnosis is a sermon in a church.
In classical hypnosis, the personality of the hypnotist is authoritarian, his words are not subject to doubt and criticism. The fundamental principle of hypnosis is the complete trust of the hypnotized. This is achieved by performing certain exercises.
Another of the principles of classical hypnosis is the concept of “hypnotizability of the client.”
Permissive hypnosis includes “Ericksonian” hypnosis, in which the client’s personality is placed “above” the personality of the hypnotist.
nThe techniques used in both classical and Ericksonian hypnosis are almost the same (catalepsy, levitation, dissociation, etc.), but in Ericksonian hypnosis the concept of hypnotizability is blurred; Ericksonists believe that all clients are subject to hypnosis, to one degree or another.
But from my own experience I can say that the deepest trances are achieved using classical hypnosis methods, although I can also note that the depth of the trance does not affect the result of the work.![]()

So, what you need to know about hypnosis.
*Hypnotic sleep is not an ordinary dream - a person hears everything and understands what the hypnologist says. This is a state of relaxation, some fatigue and a desire to rest, when you hear everything and you understand, you just don’t want to move.
*During the day, a person spontaneously falls into a state of hypnosis: it is as if he “falls out” of reality for a while, his gaze becomes motionless and his body seems to turn to stone. According to scientists, this happens every 90 minutes of wakefulness in mentally healthy people.
*Scientists have experimentally proven that all mentally healthy people are capable of immersing themselves in hypnosis, and people with a strong will do it better, as they easily focus and maintain their attention on the words of the doctor (hypnologist). Therefore, people with mental disorders (psychiatric patients) either do not succumb to hypnosis at all, or succumb for a very short time.
*While in a hypnotic trance, a person is able to resist those suggestions that contradict his views on life
*It is impossible to introduce hypnosis of a person for entire days or weeks. Even if a person is not specifically brought out of hypnosis, he will still “wake up” in an hour or two.
